The Kinja Deals thread only has 6 replies so far, but half of them are graphic pics of mutilated and dead cats. Nothing on the internet has made my stomach turn like this in years. Seriously, fuck these people.

Looks like they're already gone. I just went and looked and it's just a couple of normal grey comments.

Thanks...I seem to remember burners and unapproved commenter pics being fully blurred in the past, but now they're just slightly hazed. You can still make out the pic just fine.

I’ve often wondered if flagging did anything. I’ve flagged some replies, which only seemed to add a “flagged” note to it.

Good to see that it does bring the reply under scrutiny. In this case, they seem to have addressed it rather promptly.

you know what semi-related issue really grinds my gears. that I’m in teh grey on sploid, and not in the grey on all the forums it is shared to. but I can’t contribute to the discussion (be it mutilated cat pics or valid commentary) because I’m a grey nobody on sploid

It used to be that anyone with a "star" on any site was consider vetted enough to contribute on all of them. I liked that system the best, it was far simpler, too.
